Carl Flindt Dead
Carl Flindt died at his home in Rich Hill, Missouri, of typhoid pneumonia last Saturday [January 14, 1911], aged 22 years. The body as brought here for burial in Oak Hill cemetery Tuesday, short funeral services being held from the residence of his brother Bert, in this city at 10:30 Tuesday. Deceased was formerly a resident of Estherville and was the youngest of seven sons. Four brothers, William B., George W., Thomas B. and Bert live here and the other two and his father in Rich Hill, Missouri. They were all here for the funeral and burial. Twenty Years ago: Carl Flindt, brother of W., G. W., C. W. and B. B. Flindt, formerly of this place, died at his parental home in Richhill, Mo., Friday afternoon. The remains were brought here Monday for burial in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, January 21, 1931)
