Death of a Little Girl
After a few weeks’ illness from dysentery occurred on Thursday, December 15th, the death of Luella [Lovella] Susan Eisenhower, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Eisenhower who reside a short distance east of Huntington. The funeral was held from the Free Baptist church in Estherville, Sunday afternoon, Rev. McColley conducting the ceremony. Four little girls, friends and schoolmates of the deceased, acted as pall bearers and the church was filled. The burial was in Oak Hill cemetery. Luella was aged five years, ten months and two days and was a beautiful child. In their great loss the bereaved parents have the tender sympathy of many friends.
