Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the Mahlum and Anderson Funeral chapel for Ruel Corbin, 69, who passed away Wednesday [January 21, 1942] morning at his home five miles northwest of Dunnell, Minn.

Mr. Corbin had been ill for the past three years, suffering from [remainder of sentence missing].

A resident of the Dunnell community for the past 22 years, Mr. Corbin resided in Storm Lake before moving to Minnesota. He was the father of Charles Corbin, of Estherville, and was a frequent visitor in this city. He has many friends here who will regret to learn of his death.

Besides his widow he is survived by two sons, Charles Corbin, of Estherville, Edgar Corbin of Fremont, Nebr., one daughter, Mrs. John Blom, of Worthington, Minn., and one step-son, Langdon Corbin of Schaller. (Vindicator & Republican, Estherville, IA, January 22, 1942)
