Estherville – Mrs. H. C. (Camelita) Ahrens, 61, a former Estherville resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the United District Hospital, Staples, Minn.

Services for Mrs. Ahrens will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Faith Lutheran Church, Staples, with the Rev. Paul Lundborg officiating.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville, with the Rev. Max Goldman officiating.

Mrs. Ahrens was born Feb. 7, 1915, at Estherville, the daughter of Floyd and Ila Lytle. She was united in marriage to H. C. Ahrens, March 21, 1931, and the couple resided in Estherville until moving to Staples.

Survivors include one son, Dennis Wayne Ahrens, St. Cloud, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Don (Donna) Brobst, Estherville, Mrs. Darrel (Florine) Cline, Staples, and Mrs. Tom (Patricia) Nesnik, Staples; fifteen grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Claude (Idella) Armijo, Rialta, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son and infant grandson. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 13, 1976)
