Mrs. Wilson enjoyed the friendship of a host of friends and has always been known as a woman of broad mind and loft ideals always interested in the cause of Christianity and the uplifting of mankind. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church at Coleraine Tuesday March 13th. Mrs. Wilson was called to Coleraine Feb. 13th where he son Geo. suffered a stroke of paralysis and who is not expected to life at the present time, a few days after her arrival there she was taken ill with bronchial pneumonia which proved fatal at the end of twelve days. Of course her advanced age and previous nervous disorders made the disease much more difficult to combat and two trained nurses summoned from Duluth but to no avail.

Her remains were brought here for interment beside her husband in Oakhill cemetery. Services held at M.E. church March 21st under the auspices of the ladies relief corps, owing to sickness in every one of the families and weather conditions the only ones able to accompany the remains here [remainder too dark to read.] (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, March 21, 1917)
