Death Comes To Mrs. Art Williamson
Funeral Will Be Held Friday
Mrs. Art Williamson, 52, long time resident of Estherville, died yesterday at 9:45 p.m. in Park View clinic, of cancer. She had been suffering from the disease for about five months.

She was born March 30, 1898, in Stewart and received her education there. On May 25, 1921, she was married to Williamson, and the couple moved to a farm east of Armstrong and lived for two years before moving to Estherville where they had lived since. Williamson has carried on his trade of carpenter here during that time.

Mrs. Williamson was a member of the Estherville Christian church. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kenneth of Chicago and Eldon of Tulsa; four sisters, Mrs. George Kyte of Osceola, Mrs. Betty Reese of Des Moines, Mona Pease of Earlham and Mrs. Elmer Bloomquist of Dexter; and two brothers, Marvin Pease of Earlham and John Pease of St. Louis.

Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Estherville Christian church with the Rev. Gordan Hagberg and the Rev. Fred Sawyer of Bloomfield officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 26, 1950)
