Rose L. Wilcox
Rose L. Wilcox, 78, a retired teacher and a resident of MethWick Manor the last five years, died Friday after a long illness.

She was born Jan. 18, 1888, in Sac county. She taught music in the Marion school system for many years.

Surviving are a brother, George E. Wilcox of Los Altos, Calif., and a sister, Beulah Wilcox of Nora Springs.

Miss Wilcox was a member of the Methodist church.

Memorial services: Turner chapel at 9 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Leigh Soule. Burial: Oak Hill cemetery, Estherville. Friends may call at the chapel until 9 p.m. Sunday. The casket will not be opened after the service. (Cedar Rapids Gazette, Cedar Rapids, IA, February 11, 1966)
