Obituary
Evelyn Ruth, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Triggs passed peacefully away Sunday morning at the home of Mrs. Triggs’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Cooper.

This is beyond a doubt the smallest baby ever born in Estherville, as it only weighed one and one-fourth pounds at birth.

It only lived thirteen days to cast a ray of sunshine into the hearts of its parents and was laid to rest by the side of an infant brother in Oak Hill cemetery.

The floral offerings were beautiful showing the high esteem held for the child’s parents. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, April 9, 1919)
