William H. Tackett, 60, Dies; Funeral Wednesday
Funeral services for William H. Tackett, 60, Spirit Lake, were held Wednesday in Estherville with the Rev. Kenneth Fogelman officiating. Mr. Tackett died Sunday [September 25, 1960] following a heart attack.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Edwin Thompson of Spirit Lake, Mrs. Clifford Caviness of Spirit Lake, and Mrs. Hal Hartwick of Sioux City; two sons, James and Robert at home; one stepson, Paul Keasling of Sioux City; two brothers, Jess of Denver, Colo. and James of Ottumwa; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Clark of Ottumwa, Mrs. Virginia Wellman of Ft. Madison, and Mrs. Robert Leon of Ottumwa.

Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery in Estherville. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, September 29, 1960)
