Swartz, 72, Dies Here
Leslie David Swartz, 72, retired area farmer, died at 6:30 a.m. today at the Good Samaritan Home where he had been a resident for about seven months. Death was attributed to complications of diabetes.

He was born Jan. 10, 1893 in Illinois and moved with his parents to Estherville. He farmed southeast of town, until his retirement, when he moved to Estherville.

Mr. Swartz is survived by one brother, Ira Swartz, of Estherville.

Funeral services will be held Monday at the Reese Funeral Home, Rev. William R. Noland officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Sunday until time of services Monday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 10, 1965)
