Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday at the Christian Church with the Rev. James Harmon officiating and burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Seeliger was born Oct. 18, 1880, at Union, Iowa, to Oliver Jones and Mary Leach Jones and was educated in rural schools in Hardin County.

She was married to Charles H. Seeliger Feb. 26, 1899 in Union. She came to Armstrong in 1915 and had lived in the Armstrong and Estherville area since. She was a member of the Christian Church, Estherville.

Mrs. Seeliger is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ethel) Case, Estherville, and Mrs. Gladys Erpelding, Estherville; one son, Cecil Seeliger, Spirit Lake; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Hattie Jackson, Wichita, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 11, 1974)
