Ex-Gruver Resident Dies
Anna M. [McGraw] Rogers of Bedford, and former longtime Gruver resident, died Saturday [September 23, 1950] at 7:30 a.m. at Bedford. She was a faithful member of the Gruver Presbyterian church during the many years that the Rogers family lived in the community. She is survived by two children, Homer Rogers of Jackson, and Pearl Beggs of Clearfield, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Earl. Services will be held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at Sandin Funeral home with burial at Oak Hill cemetery in Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 25, 1950)
