Miss Mathilda Rohde Dies Suddenly
Miss Mathilda Rohde, formerly of this city was stricken with paralysis at the home of her sister in LuVerne, Minnesota, Sunday and died from the shock the same day. The body was brought to Estherville Tuesday evening and taken to the home of her brother, H. N. Rohde. Funeral will be held from the Rohde home this (Wednesday) afternoon and interment made by the side of her father and mother in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Deceased was born in Holstein, Germany, and was sixty-one years of age at the time of her death. While her parents were living she resided with them in Estherville. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, April 18, 1917)
