1897-1977
Estherville – Mrs. Grace Robinson, 79, Estherville, died Wednesday [September 7, 1977] morning at Holy Family Hospital.Services for Mrs. Robinson will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Taylor of the Grace Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Robinson was born Dec. 27, 1897, at Newell, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Eveleth. She received her education in Sac City schools and attended the Des Moines Business College. She was married to Louis Stanton and later to George Robinson in 1956 at Estherville.
She was employed at Iowa State College, Ames, until moving to Estherville in 1945, where she served as deputy city clerk for many years.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Episcopal Church, Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the White Shrine.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James Gorman, Oneida, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; one brother, James Eveleth, Sepulveda, Calif.; and one sister, Lois Woods, Exeland, Wisc. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home until time of services Friday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 8, 1977)
