HOLD FUNERAL SERVICES TODAY FOR MRS. WOLDEN
The last rites for Mrs. B. O. Wolden, 42, who, died Monday noon at a local hospital, were held this afternoon. Short services were held at the home at 1:30 and at the Estherville Lutheran church at 2 o'clock with the Rev. L. A. Matre and the Rev. Peder Nordsletten of Wallingford officiating.
At the church the music selections were furnished by Benora Shaw, Jennie Handeland, Carola Mathre, Everett Shaw and Lloyd Handeland. Mrs. George Robinson played the funeral march.
Burial was at the cemetery in Wallingford. A quintet from Wallingfond sang at the burial service.
Anna Marie Valen, daughter of Arnt and Marie Valen, was born in Emmet township, August 18, 1892. When a child she was baptised and was later confirmed at the Palestine Lutheran church by the Rev. T. O. Thompson.
On June 17, 1924, she was united in marriage to Bernt O. Wolden of Estherville and to this union two children were born, Bernice Marie, 8, and Gerhard Paul, 6.
Mrs. Wolden has been in failing health since 1928. She spent one year in a hospital in Fairmont, two and a half years at Iowa City and since March she has been a hospital patient at Estherville.
Besides her husband and two children she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Thor Sunde, Mrs. John Twedt and Ida and Alma Valen of Estherville and five brothers, Gustave, Lewis, Arthur, and Henry of Estherville and Elmer of St. Paul.
