SMALL BOY IS KILLED IN FALL OVER RAILING
Selmer Tweedt, 9, of Armstrong Breaks Neck as He Hits Sidewalk
Armstrong, Sept. 5--Lester Selmer Tweedt, 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.K. Tweedt, died here at 3 a.m. The boy had suffered a broken neck in a fall Saturday night at about ten o'clock when he fell over a railing of the stairway on the outside of the old Emmet county bank building. Together with several other children he had been sliding down the rail but lost his hold and fell over the side down to the sidewalk below.
The child Was born on a farm near Armstrong, March 14, 1925. Besides his parents he leaves one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Lutheran church in Armstrong.
