R. F. Morse, a former resident of Estherville and father of Gail H. Morse, chief train dispatcher for the Rock Island, died March 31, at his home in Walker, Iowa. Mr. Morse was seventy-eight years of age and is survived by five children. Mrs. Morse died about eight years ago. The decedent lived in Estherville for some time prior to his wife’s death and will be kindly remembered by many friends. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, April 11, 1906)
