Mrs. Grover McCall, 66, Dies at Home

Mrs. Grover McCall, long-time resident of this vicinity, died at 5:10 p.m. yesterday at her home, 407 North Ninth street, at the age of 66. She had been ill and confined to her home for the past two years.

Her maiden name was Grace Fritz and she has been married to Grover McCall for 45 years. Mr. McCall is a retired service station operator and farmer.

Surviving Mrs. McCall’s death is her husband. She is preceded in death by a son, Maurice, who was killed in an airplane crash in August, 1942.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Sternborg funeral home, the Rev. Raymond Larson officiating. Burial will be in Oakhill cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 24, 1954)
