Ex-Resident, 59, Dies; Services Are Scheduled

Everett Littell, 59, Des Moines, former Estherville resident, died Monday around noon at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines following a short illness.

He was born Jan. 19, 1911, in Estherville, to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Littell. He has lived in Des Moines for the past 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, the former Theodora Bottom. Her parents are the Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Bottom. Rev. Bottom is a former minister of the Methodist Church in Estherville. Also surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Sandra) Muth, Mason city; three grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Floyd (Evelyn) Brandt, Estherville.

Funeral services were to be held in Des Moines today and at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. Rev. Dick Pearson will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
