Grace Marie Ghoslin Dies at Age 77
Funeral services for Grace Marie Ghoslin, 77, who died Sunday [September 3, 1967] at 10:20 a.m. in Holy Family Hospital, were held today at 10 a.m. in the Reese-Henry Funeral Chapel, Rev. Rawlin Johnson officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Ghoslin had been in failing health for the last three years and had been hospitalized since Tuesday. Her death was caused by a stroke.

She was born Oct. 16, 1889, in Estherville to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Riley. She received her education in the Estherville schools and was married here in 1906 to James Ghoslin.

Mrs. Ghoslin had lived all her life in Estherville with the exception of 12 years that she lived in California. There she was manager of an apartment house. In Estherville her employment had been in the L. M. Christensen Store and the Estherville Drug.

She was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Charles Robinson of Estherville and one nephew, C. W. Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers were Jack Kint, Clyde Sanborn, Jack Sanders, R. S. Grimm, Delbert Hinsch, and P.E. Yates. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 5, 1967)
