Heart Attack Fatal to Elver Yule

Elver L. Yule, 63, native of Estherville, died suddenly this morning of a heart attack at his home. He had not been ill previously to his death.

Mr. Yule was born March 15, 1899, in Estherville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yule. He received his education in the Estherville schools and the last semester of his senior year in the Echo, Minn. high school.

Mr. Yule was married to the former Beulah Davis on Feb. 9, 1921, in Estherville. Both have lived all their lives in Estherville.

He had been employed by the Rock Island Railway for 28 years and for 12 years he worked in the state liquor store in Estherville until his retirement in December, 1961. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Yule is survived by his wife, two sons, Merle of Estherville, George William of St. Albans, W. Va., and one daughter, Mrs. Ervin Ficken, Spencer, and four grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Willard Rucker, Iowa Falls, and Mrs. Robert Perkins, Estherville, and one brother, George Percy Yule, Lakeside, Calif.

Funeral services are pending at Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
