Mrs. D. H. Adams Passes Away
Respected Lady Died at Her Home in Iowa Falls Last Saturday
Had Been Sick for Some Time
Remains Were Brought to This City and Interred in Beautiful Oak Hill Cemetery

Mrs. D. H. Adams was born in Beaver Dam, Wis., in 1866. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Coon. She moved from Beaver Dam to Hampton, Iowa, with her parents. In 1882 she was married to Geo. W. Pease, at Hampton. She and her husband moved to Sioux Falls, S.D. One child was born to this union, Ingram Pease, of Iowa Falls.

In 1888 she was married to D. H. Adams, at Sioux Falls, S.D., and later moved from there to Estherville, in March, 1891, making this their home until 1912, when they moved to Ellsworth, Minn., living there but a short time and them moving to Iowa Falls, Iowa, where she has since made her home. She died Saturday, December 11th, after a lingering illness of five months.

Mrs. Adams was well known in Estherville, where she made her home for a number of years. She has been a loving, faithful wife and mother, a kind neighbor and friend, and will be greatly missed by a host of friends and relatives.

The body was brought to Estherville, Monday p.m. The funeral services were conducted from the Union Baptist church by Rev. J. Frederic Catlin at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, and the body was laid to rest in the Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, December 15, 1915)
