RINGSTED--Services for Mrs. Myrtle E. Jacobson, 75, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Ringsted, with burial in the church cemetery.

She died Tuesday at the Holy Family Hospital in Estherville. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Thursday at Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Ringsted and one hour prior to service at the church.

Myrtle Madsen was born Oct. 4, 1907 at Ringsted, Iowa. She attended Ringsted schools and also Mankato State University. She was married to Ernest Jacobson on July 5, 1929, at Shennandoah, Iowa. They lived and farmed near Ringsted until 1952 when they moved to twon where they lived since. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by six sons, Ronald of Estherville, David of Canton, S.D., Leroy of Fenton, Myron of Winchester, Ky., Lloyd of Antioch, Ill, and Jerald of Richmond, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Wanda) Christensen of Ringsted; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Clarence Madsen of Ringsted.
