ARMSTRONG--Service for Mrs. Alma Eckholm, 79, of Armstrong will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Free Methodist Church in Armstrong with burial in Armstrong Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Eckholm died Saturday at Valley Vue Nursing Home in Armstrong. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Armstrong and prior to service at the church.

Alma Anderson was born Dec. 9, 1903, at Seneca. She was educated in rural Kossuth County schools and married Valdon Eckholm Feb. 14, 1923, in Emmet County. He died in October 1973. She had lived all her life in Kossuth and Emmet counties. She resided in Estherville prior to moving to Armstrong.

Survivors include sons, Kenneth of Mobile, Ala., Lyle "Sony" of Armstrong; daughters, Phyllis Thackery amd Mrs. Richard (Betty) Paulson, both of Armstrong; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Albert Anderson of Armstrong; Cecil Anderson of Ringsted; sister, Mrs. Esther Abbas of Armstrong.
