ARMSTRONG, Iowa--Services for James A. Beck, 80, of Armstrong, Iowa, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Armstrong. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery, Armstrong.

Beck died Friday, Sept. 2, 2005, at his home in rural Armstrong, Iowa.

James A. Beck, was born Feb. 7, 1925, on a farm in rural Kossuth county, son of George and Lila (Mitchell) Beck.

Survivors include: wife, Arlene of Armstrong; sons, Gerald Beck and wife Gail, of Chana, Illinois and Duane Beck and wife Kelly, of Lake City, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Phylis Lyle of Estherville and Helen Henriksen of Armstrong.
