Obituary – Kirchner
Henry Kirchner was born May 6, 1845, at Saxon-Weimer, Germany, and passed away at Kenmare, North Dakota, on November 11, 1918, after a brief illness. He came to this county as a young man and lived about twenty years in this vicinity. Then he went to Kenmare, North Dakota, where he resided the last five years.

He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, three daughters, Pearl at home, Mrs. Harry Price of Ashton, Illinois, and Mrs. Jake Shatler of Ellendale, North Dakota; and three sons, Will of Kenmare, North Dakota, George of Dolliver, and Ed of Estherville.

Brief funeral services were conducted at the undertaking parlors here on Friday morning, November 15, and interment was made in Oak Hill Cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, November 20, 1918)
