MRS. SADE M. DAVIDSON DIES
Funeral Services To Be Wednesday

Mrs. Sade Davidson, 81, died early this morning [May 6, 1935] at the home of Mrs. Weldon Moore, her nurse, where she has been confined suffering from complications resulting from a hip injury.

Mrs. Davidson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor, was born May 26, 1854 in Iowa City.

Her girlhood and young womanhood were spent in Iowa City where, in 1878, she was married to Hamilton Davidson.

Following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Davidson made their home at Marble Rock until 1886 when they moved to Estherville. They lived here until 1918 when the family moved to Minneapolis.

Mrs. Davidson served as city librarian in Estherville from 1901 until 1918 and previous to 1901 she served as a member of the library board.

She was a member of the Christian church.

Mrs. Davidson came to Estherville with her daughter, Miss Lois Davidson in August to visit in the Dr. W. E. Bradley home. She fell and broke her hip shortly after arriving here and since Sept. 1 has been confined to her room at a local hospital and recently at the home of Mrs. Moore, her nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Miss Lois Davidson of Minneapolis, two sisters, Mrs. L. S. Naftzger of Wichita, Kansas and Mrs. H. L. Piper of Los Angeles, California, and two brothers, C. B. Taylor of Cedar Rapids and G. E. Taylor of Moline, Ill.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Arthur G. Bailey with burial in the Oak Hill cemetery where Mr. Davidson is buried. The place for the services has not been decided upon.

Miss Davidson [Lois], who is convalescing from a broken hip suffered several weeks ago at Mankato, is at the Bradley home.
