ESTHERVILLE -- Vera Marie Sifrit, 68, of Estherville died at her home here Friday. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church here with the Rev. Fr. Clair Boes conducting them.

Visitation was held Sunday afternoon at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Home. A Legion of Mary Rosary was held for her Sunday afternoon, and a parish Rosary followed Sunday evening.

Mrs. Sifrit was born March 24, 1919 at Emmetsburg, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Bell (Soper) McClain. She received her education in the Emmetsburg schools and was married to Sheldon Albert Sifrit March 11, 1938, at Estherville. She lived in Estherville all her married life. Mr. Sifrit died in 1973.

She had been a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Rae Jean (Mrs. Jim) Tindall of Estherville, and two grandchildren, Rick and Christi Nava, also of Estherville.

Also surviving are three sisters: Georgine (Mrs. Delbert) Kooker of Ruthven; Josephine Young of Web City, Mo., and Edna (Mrs. Clarence) Bland of Terril.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one sister.
