Wife and Mother Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Thomas M. Pullen Passed to Her Reward Sunday Morning
Victim of White Plague
Resident of Estherville Since 1894. Funeral Services This Wednesday Afternoon
Mrs. Tom M. Pullen died Sunday morning after a lingering illness of consumption. She was a woman beloved by all who knew her for her quiet, amiable disposition. She considered her home duties first and always endeavored to make life pleasant for her husband and sons. She will be sadly missed from the home and by all who knew her.

Ingebor Maria Gilbertson was born at Castle Rock, Wis., January 28, 1877. She moved with her parents to Early, Iowa, when she was about ten years of age. At the age of 17 years they moved to Estherville, where she resided until death. In 1902 she was married to Mr. Thomas M. Pullen to which union five children were born, of which three are living, two having died in infancy. Those living are: James Gilbert, Joseph Martin and George Elbert.

She is survived by her husband, mother and sister, Anne, brother, Joseph, of Ukiah, California, brother, Hans, of Grangeville, Idaho, brother, Reinhart, of Glenburn, North Dakota, and Gus Gilbertson of London, Minnesota.

She united with the Presbyterian church in 1902 and has been a consistent member of that organization.

The funeral services conducted by Rev. Mitchell will be held from the residence today (Wednesday) at two o’clock and the remains laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery.

A Sufferer for Two Years
The Funeral Was Held From the Home This Afternoon and Interment Made in Oak Hill Cemetery
On Sunday morning, last, at her home on North Sixth street occurred the death of Mrs. T. M. Pullen. For the past two years Mrs. Pullen has been struggling with that disease most dreaded by the human race, tuberculosis. Mrs. Pullen has made a most desperate fight, and everything known that would assist her in her betterment or her comfort has been done by her loving husband. Mrs. Pullen was a kind and faithful mother, and knowing her condition would probably have given up the battle if it had not been for the love of her family and home.

Marie Gilbertson Pullen was born at Castle Rock, Wisconsin, January 28, 1877, and died Sunday, July 27, 1913. She moved with her parents to Everly when she was about ten years of age, coming to Estherville to make her home in 1894. She was united in marriage to Thomas M. Pullen on January 1, 1902. She was the mother of five children, three of whom survive her. Besides her children she leaves her mother, four brothers and one sister to mourn her loss, most of whom are located at such a distance that they were unable to attend the funeral. Funeral services were held a the home this afternoon at two o’clock. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery beside her two children, Rev. R. C. Mitchell of the Presbyterian church, conducting the services.
