Louis Alfred Keller Dead
Passes Away at His Home After Long Illness Caused by Cancer of the Face
Louis Alfred Keller, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Keller, passed away in this city on Friday last from the effects of cancer. He has been in poor health for some time past and has required much medical attention. Of late his suffering has been extremely severe and death came to his relief.

Louis Alfred Keller was born in Pulaski, Ill., on Oct. 30, 1881. He came to Iowa with his parents in 1883, where the family settled at Storm Lake. In 1896 they moved to Marshalltown where they resided until they came to this city in 1901. In the year 1906 he entered business in Terril where he remained but a short time returning to Estherville to reside.

Mr. Keller leaves to mourn his death his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Keller; and four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. M. L. Sherman, Chetsworth, Ill,; Mrs. John Steele, Estherville; Mrs. A. T. Van Valkenburg, Estherville; Mrs. Charley Wing, Brewster, Minn.; Jay Keller of Des Moines and Fred Keller of Estherville.

The funeral services were held on Monday at 2:30 from the Methodist church the Rev. J. W. LaGrone officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery. (The Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, June 29, 1921)
