DOLLIVER MAN’S DEATH RESULTS FROM SCRATCH

Blood poisoning from a scratch on his finger resulted in the death yesterday of Birtus Fedderson, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fedderson of Dolliver. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. today In the Methodist church at Dolliver, the Rev. Carver, pastor of the church, officiating.

Fedderson scratched his hand on a barbed wire fence two weeks ago while working for a neighbor, Will Mitchel. While he was suffering from blood poisoning he contracted pneumonia, which resulted in his death.

The Fedderson farm is located about seven mile north of Armstrong. Birtus is the oldest boy in a large family.
