The funeral services for Mrs. P.C. Duer were held Monday from the home at 1:30 and from St. John’s Lutheran church at 2 o’clock conducted by Rev. Stub. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Duer was born in Denmark in 1863 where she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was married to Peter C. Duer in Denmark and came to this country where they lived on a farm near Emmetsburg for many years. Since retiring from farming they have lived in Ringsted. She leaves to mourn her husband, two sons, Carl and Has, and three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Jacobsen, Mrs. Robert Jacobsen, Mrs. Ed Davidsen of Osage, and nine grandchildren, one brother, Thomas Juhl of Fenton and a brother and sister in Denmark.
