POPULAR YOUNG MAN CALLED BY DEATH

Amos Olson Sunde, From Near Huntington, Died in Anderson Hospital

A sad death occurred at the Anderson Hospital in this city last Thursday, when Amos Olson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sunde, from near Huntington, answered the final summons of the grim reaper. He was one of the most popular young men of his neighborhood and his untimely is mourned by a large number of friends. When the call to colors was made during the great World war, he was one of the boys to answer the call. He served faithfully until the end of the war. He received his honorable discharge on April first this year.

He was born at Cobry, Illinois, and was almost twenty-four years of age at the time of his death. He moved with his parents to this county from his former home. He was sober, industrious, of a genial nature, and made many friends readily. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, and one sister, besides other, relatives. Funeral service were held at the Lutheran church near Dolllver last Monday. Rev. Borge of this city and Rev. Hanson, of Gruver, were in charge of the services. Burial was made in the Dolllver cemetery. The bereaved loved ones have the sincere sympathy of the community in their great hour of loss and grief.
