Rites Wednesday for Estherville Woman, 74

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Florence L. [Lavina] Ringham, 74, Estherville, who died at 12:50 p.m. Sunday [December 7, 1969] at Good Samaritan Center from a heart attack. She had been in failing health for the past five years.

She was born Aug. 2, 1895, at Spirit Lake [Iowa] to Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Wells. She was educated in the Spirit Lake and Estherville schools. She moved to Estherville with her parents as a young girl. She was married Sept. 23, 1919, to Joseph Ringham at Estherville. Mr. Ringham died in 1964.

She was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Elwin Ringham, Estherville, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.

Services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Reese-Henry Chapel in Estherville. The Rev. Val Hauck will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of services on Wednesday.
