James Pullen, who was well known to all the older area residents of Estherville and Emmet County, passed away last Sunday at the home of his daughter Mrs. H. E. McCoy in Plattsville Wisc. The remains were brought to this city, the funeral being held from the Warren Pullen residence. He was nearly 85 years of age at the time of his death. He lived here many years, going to Wisconsin last spring to live with his daughter.

Survived by seven children: John Barker, George, Henry, Thomas, and Warren J. of Estherville. Mrs. H. E. McCoy of Pittsville*, WI and Mrs. George Heathman of Plover, Ia.

*Note: the correct spelling is Platteville, WI.
