GRAETTINGER -- Funeral services for Kate Osher, 88, Estherville, formerly of Graettinger, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallingford Lutheran church with the Rev. Wesley Brodin officiating and burial at the Wallingford Cemetery. She died Oct. 25 [1975] at the Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.
Mrs. Osher was born Feb. 11, 1886 in Emmet County and received her education in county schools. She was married to Edward B. Osher April 8, 1903. She was a resident of Emmet County until 1942 when they retired to Graettinger. She had been a resident at the Rosewood Manor in Estherville for the past few years and was a lifetime member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church.
Survivors include six sons, Almer, Polson, Mont.; Leonard, Ruthven; Gilford, Wallingford; Norman, Denver, Colo.; Ernest, Maitland, Fla.; and John, Alamo, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Glendon (Esther) Thu, Terril; Ruth Nelson, Des Moines; and Mrs. Vance (Geneva) Knutsen, San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Dora Refsell, Wallingford; Helen Olson, Terril; and Mrs. Mae Egeland, Wallingford; two brothers, Jim Jensen, Austin, Minn.; and Art Jensen, Green Valley, Ariz.; 32 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Graettinger, until one hour before services on Tuesday when the body will be taken to the church in Wallingford.
