WALLINGFORD--Funeral services for Clarence Wilbur Olson, 82, Wallingford, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Wallingford Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wesley Brodin officiating. Burial will be at the Wallingford Lutheran Cemetery.

Mr. Olson died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville. Born Oct. 7, 1893, at Wallingford, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Olson, he received his education in rural schools. He married Clara Johnson April 6, 1927, at Wallingford.

Mr. Olson farmed east of Wallingford and moved to Wallingford in 1961, retiring from farming in 1965.

He was a lifetime member of the Emmet County Historical Society, lifetime member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church, a member of the American Legion for 58 years and a veteran of World War I.

Mr. Olson is survived by his wife, Clara; one son, Arnold C. Olson, Wallingford; one daughter, Mrs. Romaine (Joyce) Borchers, Estherville; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Young, Estherville and Mrs. Chet (Myrtle) Torreson, Wallingford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a grandson. Friends may call at Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, until noon on Friday.
