P. E. Herum, Deceased.

P. E. Herum, one of the old settlers of Emmet county and a resident of High Lake township, died at his home Sunday November 10th [1895]. The funeral services were held Tuesday, Rev. Engh conducting them, and the remains were laid to rest in the Wallingford cemetery. [He was born 3 Jun 1822 in Norway.] The deceased leaves a large family of children, three girls and seven boys, eight of whom are respected and well-to-do citizens of Emmet county. The two others live in Worth [county].
