Mrs. L. L. Gunderson Passes Friday

Mrs. L. L. Gunderson of Wallingford, passed away Friday evening, December 5th [1924] at the Moe Hospital in Sioux Falls, [S. D.], following an operation for gall stones. She had been taken to that city five days before and the operation seemed to be successful until a sudden change came for the worse. Her children were sent for and were with her at the end.

Her body was brought home on Saturday and the funeral services will be held this afternoon from the Wallingford Lutheran church in charge of her pastor, Rev. T. Hansen.

The deceased was a most estimable woman and had made her home here since pioneer days on a farm near Wallingford. For the past few years with her husband and younger children she has lived in Wallingford.

Three sons and three daughters and the devoted husband survive her. The sons are Henry, Albert and George, and the daughters Miss Lena, Mrs. Lewis Rustad and Miss Ida. All the children except Henry live in or near Wallingford.

She was seventy years, one month and two days old at the time of her passing.
