WELL KNOWN WOMAN ANSWERS SUMMONS
---
MRS. PATRICK O'CONNOR, SIXTY YEARS RESIDENT OF BANKSTON, DEAD.
---

Mrs. Patrick O'Connor, aged 84 years, died at the family home in Bankston on Friday morning at four o'clock after a long illness. The death of the beloved and esteemed woman has caused widespread regret in the community where she was so well known and where she had lived for sixty years, honored and respected. Mrs. O'Connor is survived by seven children -- Mrs. Thos. Cashman, Mrs. Timothy Deegan, of Elma, Mrs. Daley, of Farley, Mrs. Wm. Kingsley, of Asbury, Mrs. D.J. Sullivan, of Bankston, and Maurice, of Bankston. [Transcriber's note: obit lists only six children. Seventh, I believe, is Anna O'Connor Cashman, wife of William Cashman of Howard County, Iowa.]

The funeral will be held on Sunday morning at 9 o'clock from the late residence to St. Clement's church.

Mrs. O'Connor was an ideal woman, kindly in her ways and ever genial.

Death in claiming her has removed one whose life was an example of goodness to the community and whose passing has caused the deepest sorrow.
