Dubuque Deaths:

Maj. Fred A. Correll, formerly of Dubuque, died Monday in Santa Cruz, Calif. Services and burial will be in Santa Cruz.

A retired Army officer, he served in both world wars and in Korea. He was a graduate of the University of Dubuque and at one time was with the Internal Revenue Office in Dubuque.

He was born March 7, 1897 at Greeley, Ia.

Surviving are his wife, in Santa Cruz; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D S. Correll, 999 Iowa St.; three brothers, James, Strawberry Point, Ia., Edwin, Chicago, and Donald, Missoula, Mont.; a sister, Mrs. Robert Quinn, Battle Creek, Mich.; and nieces and nephews.
