CIVIL WAR VET TAKEN BY DEATH
Funeral of E. F. Milligan on Wednesday Afternoon.

Edward F. Milligan, civil war veteran and pioneer of this city, was taken by death at the home, 595 West 17th street, at 11 o'clock Sunday evening. Although ailing for nine years he was a patient sufferer.

The funeral services will be conducted at the home at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be made in Linwood cemetery.

Mr Milligan was born in Quaker Springs, N.Y., July 24, 1849, and had made his home in this city for the past sixty-three years. For a period of forty years he was employed as a supervisor with the Milwaukee railroad retiring twenty years ago.

Mr Milligan was a member of the Mosaic Lodge No. 125 and the Modern Woodman.

He is survived by two sons, W.F. Milligan and H.C. Milligan, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was married in 1873 to Miss Jennie M. Donegan who passed away in 1915.
