Phillip Wray French, age 40, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on August 29th, 2022.

Private family services will be held at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory in Dubuque, Iowa.

Phillip was born on October 27th, 1981, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Phillip M. and Berneice (Muenster) French. He attended Dubuque Senior High School. He worked in the drywall industry for ten years, and then did freelance contracting after that.

Phillip was a very social person and loved camping with his friends and enjoying the outdoors.

Phillip is survived by his mother (Name), siblings David (Colleen) Lindecker, Richard Lindecker, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael French, and Stacy (Nick) Tauke. He is also survived by aunts Teri (Tom) Houlihan of Beloit, WI, and Lisa (Ron) Bream of Iowa City, five nieces and nephews, and his cats Tiger and Smokey.

He was preceded in death by his father Phillip, maternal grandparents Lawrence and Cecelia Muenster, paternal grandparents Jack and Bea French, and aunt Rosanne Geselbracht.
