William “Bill” H. Zimmerman, 73, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on August 21st, 2022, at UW Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

A Celebration of life will be held at his Daughters home on Sunday August 28th at 1pm.

William was born on February 2nd, 1949, in Dubuque, Iowa. He was the son of Howard “Howie” and Ruth (Lebben) Zimmerman. He was united in marriage to Linda Lea Koppes on July 6th,
1969.

He worked at Crescent Electric Supply Company in Dubuque until he retired in 2015.

Bill loved spending time in his garage, doing woodworking, watching the Chicago Bears and NASCAR, especially his favorite driver, Bill Elliot.

He is survived by his wife Linda, children Lisa (Randy) O’Mara and William (Tami) Zimmerman, grandchildren Allison (Jack) Staton of California, Emily (Matt) Anderson of Washington, Logan O’Mara of Dubuque, and Talon (Lexi) Zimmerman with step-children Tim and Evelynn, great-grandchildren Becket, Charlotte and Huxson, and his sister Judy (Tom) Hannan of Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howie and Ruth.
