Marilyn A. Weber, 87, of Earlville, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Accura HealthCare of Cascade, Iowa. Visitation for Marilyn will be held, Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. with Scripture Service at 7 p.m. at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Earlville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022, 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Reverend Christopher Podhajsky officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Earlville.
Marilyn was born on August 8, 1935, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Reynold and Grace (Schirmer) Maiers. She graduated from Earlville High School in 1953. Marilyn married Arthur Weber on May 20, 1957, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in, Earlville, Iowa; four children were born into this union. Marilyn stayed at home to raise her children. She enjoyed baking cookies, playing cards, going on car rides through the country and giving people a hard time. Marilyn loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her dearly.
Marilyn is survived by her children: Mike (Tina) Weber of Earlville, Randy (Michele) Weber of Epworth, Iowa, Vicki Weber of Manchester; six grandchildren, Brooke (Randy) Bacon, Dylan Weber, Danielle (partner, Katy Fishnick) Weber, Nicole Weber, Jeremy Weber, Benjamin Weber; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Beau Bacon and her sister-in-law, Janet Maiers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reynold and Grace Maiers; husband, Art Weber; son, Rick "R.J." Weber and her brothers, Harold and Jerome Maiers.
