Carole A. (Frey) Pregler, 79, left this world on a beautiful spring day, surrounded by the things she loved most; her children, grandchildren, and birds singing and playing in the bird bath.

Carole was born June 30, 1942, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Joseph A. and Cecilia Begley Frey. Carole married Jerry Pregler and together raised eight children.

Mark (Kris) Pregler, Joe (Wendy) Pregler, Mary (Mike) Belmont, Judy (Bill) Mauer, Linda (Rick) Zillig, Brian (Shina) Pregler, Bruce Pregler, and Peggy (Brian) Leibfried, grandchildren Justin, C.C., Cameron, Owen, Olivia, Ben, Becca, Brandon, Jonas, Sharlotte, Zach, and Hillary, great grandson Jaxon, sisters Rita (Herb) Bisping, and Connie (Jerry) Bastian will continue to celebrate the moments and memories we have with Mom.

We are confident that right now Mom is playing cards with Dad, her parents, brothers David and Dan Frey, and sister Kathy Badger.

A special thank you to Kristen and Hospice of Dubuque for giving Mom the care and attention that she deserved.
