The funeral of Deane Botsford was held from the family residence, 1735 Clay Street, on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, the service conducted by Rev. Dysart of the Episcopal Church. The choir of St. John’s church sang several hymns during the service. The pall bearers who were classmates of the deceased were: Messrs. Donald Herrop, Milton Mehl, and Clarence Chamberlain, Earl Bott, LeRoy Oswald and Eugene Forward. The interment was made in Linwood Cemetery.
