Frank Krayer of 1360 Clay Street died at 10 o’clock Saturday night seven hours after having sustained a stroke of paralysis, the stroke occurring at his home

Mr. Krayer had been in his usual good health recently and was about his duties in regular manner, so the stroke was entirely unexpected.

Mr. Krayer was 45 years old and for a number of years had been engaged in the saloon business at the time of his death being the proprietor of the Southern Hotel buffet on Jones Street rear the Illinois Central passenger depot. He is survived by his wife and a number of brothers and sisters. He was born in Dubuque.
