DEATH CLAIMS MRS.
DOROTHY SIEVERS

HER DEMIS OCCURRED AT FAMILY RESIDENCE AT EARLY
HOUR SATURDAY

The death of Mrs. Dorothy Sievers occurred at the family residence 101 Iowa Street at Saturday morning at five thirty o’clock, her demise terminating an illness of two week duration. Mrs. Sievers was born in Germany 76 years ago, and for a number of years had resided in Galena. Five years ago the family removed to this city which has since been her home.

The deceased was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Mrs. R. C. Daniels, whose demise occurred just six months ago. The following children are left to mourn the death of their beloved mother: Mrs. W. Schutz, Tipton, Ia., Mrs. Max Kistler, Miss Minnie, Miss Lottie and Frederick and William all of this city.

Mrs. Sievers life was one of faithful service to her family and a host of friends, who will miss her kindly genial presence. The funeral will be held on Monday morning at eleven o’clock, the body to be taken on the noon train to Galena where the funeral services will be held at two-thirty o’clock at St. John’s Church.
