Mrs. John Bechtold died Monday evening at her home in Centralia, Iowa after a very brief illness.
Mrs. Bechtold was born in Saxton, Germany, in 1858 and came to America when a child.
Besides her husband, seven children survive her. Henry Joseph and Mathilda at home, Sister M. Riga, St. Joseph's Convent, Milwaukee, Wis., Sister M. Sophie, St. Francis Convent, Dubuque, Mrs. Matt Ramakeis, East Dubuque and Mrs. Nick Donar, Menominee, ILl.
She was a member of St. Anthony's church. The funeral will be held from the family residence at Centralia to St. Anthony's church at 8 o'clock Thursday morning. Burial will be made in Mount Calvary cemetery.
